About The Journal

Welcome to the International Journal of Toxicology and Toxicity Assessment (IJTT), a distinguished platform dedicated to advancing knowledge in the field of toxicology, risk assessment, and the evaluation of substances for their potential harm to human health and the environment. Published by Sciforce Publications, IJTT serves as a vital resource in the realms of toxicological research and safety assessment.

IJTT also provides a comprehensive platform for researchers, toxicologists, environmental scientists, regulatory authorities, and other stakeholders to share and advance knowledge in the field of toxicology and toxicity assessment. We encourage contributions that enhance our understanding of the potential risks posed by chemicals and substances and contribute to informed decision-making to protect human health and the environment.

Our Mission:

At IJTT, our mission is to facilitate the dissemination of high-quality research in toxicology and toxicity assessment, fostering a deeper understanding of the impacts of chemicals and substances on living organisms and ecosystems. We aim to contribute to scientific advancements, risk mitigation, and informed decision-making by providing a global platform for researchers, toxicologists, environmental scientists, and regulatory authorities to share their pioneering work.

Key Features:

Cutting-Edge Research: IJTT publishes original research articles, reviews, and studies that explore the latest discoveries in toxicology, risk assessment methodologies, and the safety evaluation of chemicals and substances.

Interdisciplinary Collaboration: We encourage collaboration among researchers from diverse disciplines, including toxicology, environmental science, pharmacology, chemistry, and regulatory science, to address complex questions related to toxicological assessment.

Global Reach: IJTT is dedicated to serving the global scientific and regulatory communities, facilitating knowledge exchange, and fostering international collaboration in toxicological research and safety evaluation.

Ethical Standards: Upholding rigorous ethical standards and peer-review processes, we ensure the integrity and quality of the research we publish.

What We Cover:

International Journal of Toxicology and Toxicity Assessment (IJTT) of Sciforce Publications is a journal which deals with the study of xenobiotics and is also the study of toxic effects of agents whose main purpose is to provide relief or to prevent any disease. And it is a scientific discipline of chemical sciences, overlapping with biology, chemistry, pharmacology, and medicine, that involves the study of the adverse effects of chemical substances on living organisms and the practice of diagnosing and treating exposures to toxins and toxicants. The relationship between dose and its effects on the exposed organism is of high significance in toxicology. Factors that influence chemical toxicity include the dosage, duration of exposure whether it is acute or chronic, route of exposure, species, age, sex, and environment. Toxicologists are experts on poisons and poisoning. There is a movement for evidence-based toxicology as part of the larger movement towards evidence-based practices. Furthermore, toxicology is currently contributing to the field of Cancer research, since some toxins can be used as drugs for killing tumor cells. One prime example of this is Ribosome Inactivating Proteins, tested in the treatment of Leukemia and other chronic diseases

The journal speaks about both clinical advances and scientific research in toxicology. The Journal of Toxicology accepts all types of articles like research, review, commentaries, hypotheses, case reports, short reports and meeting reports. The Journal of Toxicology is also an open access & peer-reviewed scientific journal which is dealing with various articles on different aspects of Toxicology Reports, Developmental Toxicology, Toxicology Tests, Chemical Toxicology, pesticidal Toxicology, Skin Toxicology, Chemical Toxicology, Reproductive Toxicology, Toxicological sciences, Industrial Hygiene, Drug toxicity, Toxic genomics, Cardiac toxicity, Renal Toxicity, Nano Toxicology, Lung toxicity, Environmental Toxicology, Heavy metal toxicity, Aflatoxins, Metal Toxicology, Toxicology, Toxicology, Heavy Metal Toxins, Cadmium Toxicology, Industrial Toxicology, Tetanus toxin, Pesticide Toxicology, Insecticides Toxicology and Benzene Toxicology.

Journal of Toxicology being an Open access system, and the manuscripts submitted here are for strict Peer-Review process before any publication. This is done to ensure that any literature published in the journal, is scientifically validated.

The International Journal of Toxicology and Toxicity Assessment (IJTT) is a scholarly platform dedicated to advancing the understanding of toxicology and the assessment of potential harm to human health and the environment. Below are the key aim and scope keywords that define the focus of IJTT:

  • Toxicological Research: Original research articles and studies focused on the toxicological assessment of chemicals, substances, and environmental agents.
  • Risk Assessment: Research related to the identification, characterization, and quantification of risks associated with chemical exposures in various contexts.
  • Hazard Identification: Studies examining the identification of hazardous substances and their potential adverse effects on living organisms and ecosystems.
  • Dose-Response Assessment: Investigations into the relationship between the dose or exposure level of a substance and its toxicological effects.
  • Environmental Toxicology: Research addressing the impacts of chemicals and pollutants on the environment, including terrestrial and aquatic ecosystems.
  • Chemical Safety: Studies on safety evaluations, regulatory compliance, and safety protocols in the handling and use of chemicals.
  • Toxicological Mechanisms: Exploration of the molecular and cellular mechanisms underlying toxicological responses and pathways.
  • In Vitro and In Vivo Testing: Research involving both in vitro (cell-based) and in vivo (animal-based) toxicological testing methods and models.
  • Regulatory Toxicology: Articles related to regulatory science, guidelines, and frameworks for chemical safety assessments and risk management.
  • Emerging Contaminants: Investigations into newly recognized contaminants, pollutants, and substances of concern in the environment.
  • Occupational Health and Safety: Research addressing toxicological hazards and safety considerations in occupational settings.
  • Chemical Industry: Studies related to safety evaluations, toxicity testing, and risk assessments in the pharmaceutical and chemical manufacturing industries.
