Clinical research it mainly deals with safety of medications, devices, diagnostic products and treatment regimens proposed for human use. This clinical research is undergone for the purpose of prevention, treatment diagnosis or for relieving symptoms of diseases. Clinical trials undergo four phases for all new drugs or new formula. Each phase test should be passed and each phase test is treated as a separate clinical trial,If the drug successfully passes through Phases I, II, and III, it will generally get approved by the national regulatory authority for use in the general population. Phase IV are 'post-approval' studies. Phase I includes Testing of drug on healthy volunteers for dose-ranging, Phase II Testing of drug on patients to evaluate efficiency and side effects, Phase III Testing of drug on patients to evaluate efficiency, effectiveness and side effects, Phase IV Post marketing surveillance – watching drug use in public.
